This is just an illustration but knowing what Toyota has in mind for their next generation Camry it wouldn't surprise me if it look as bland as this. Even see the Legacy's uninspiring headlamp design mimic those seen here. I would like to see more originality with not only this car, but with all of Toyota's products. So far the Pruis looks nice.

I HATE TOYOTA...but I kinda like this. Not even close to Sonata and Optima level but still pretty good. Although i'd have to see the real thing first.
I'm seeing a lot of Buick Lacrosse in this rendering.
Looks good.
Sonata is too roundy and gaymobile.
Like the Acura-like Headlamps.
@ Kaivo, please keep in mind that this site caters to a very large audience and is a sponsored site. I know you might not have realized it, but please be careful what you say here.
Thank you,

It will sell no matter what it looks like.
Sonata whips its butt
No, Optima will kick its butt big time and Toyota will feel the blow.
Personally, the Sonata set the standard for others to follow when it came out revamped for 2011. The Sonata is why the mid size segment has started to move away from vanilla to something with MUCH MORE substance.
Kia Optima 2012 looks dashing and sure for grabs and the sonata is definitely cool, if at all the all new Toyota Camry 2012 is somewhere like the illustrated pic it will be the most unbelievable thing from Toyota!.
Sonata >>> Camry
Optima >>> Camry
Mazda6 >>> Camry
I couldn't care less what it looks like, I'd never even consider purchasing a Camry over the three vehicles mentioned above.
Well, unfortunately, that illustration is a 100 percent accurate indicator of the new Camry. Here's pictures of the real 2012 Toyota Camry. Compare them to the illustration and they are spot on.

Evan there is a photo of this very same car at the bottom of your wb page
That was just for comparison purposes, as previously I (and others I'm sure) weren't sure if this was an official drawing or not. To my eyes though it looks very accurate as to how the Camry's going to look. Even from what little detail you can see on the grille of the real Camry
IMHO, the Camry needes to looks a hell of a lot more sophisticated if it wants to remain above the Sonata/Optima and even its own Prius. The number of Optimas have doubled in my small geographical area which is kind of prompting me to do a test drive.
Go for it!
